Q. How much is it to deliver to me.

A. We can deliver almost anywhere in mainland UK and delivery is FREE.

Q. Is your payment system safe?

A. We use Lloyds Cardnet and transactions are taken through a secure server.

Q. What is a 'pump clip'?

A. This is a badge and is not required to dispense your beer. You find these badges on the hand pumps in pubs to show what beer is on offer, they are very useful at parties to show what beer is in what container.

Q. How long will the beer for home last?

A. You should be able to drink your polypin beer in a box for at least 10 - 14 days when opened, it should keep for at least 21- 28 days unopened. Beer Mini kegs can keep the beer fresh for up to 6 months!

Q. Do you have a minimum order?

A. Only with the mini casks, there is a minimum order of 2 from the same brewery.

Q. What about bottled beers?

A. Yes you must order 2 cases from the same brewery unless you are ordering cask ale from the brewery, in which case you can add a case of bottles.

Q. What is one of my choices is out of stock?

A. We will contact you to offer you another brand from the same or another brewery closest to your original choice.

Q. What if there is a price difference?

A. If the replacement is lower in value we will return the difference.

Q. Why do the prices differ from brand to brand?

A. All the Beer Shop beers are priced by strength (ABV %) the stronger the beer the more the brewery has to pay the government in duty.

Q. How can I tell what the beer will taste like?

A. We provide tasting notes to help your decision.

Q. Can I pay by other methods apart from credit card?

A. We accept cheques, pay offline, bank transfer and postal orders (please send by recorded delivery).

Q. When will I get my beer?

A. After you have placed your order the brewery will 'rack' the beer into the Polypin or Mini Cask. Each brewery has a different timescale but you should wait no longer than 2 to 3 days.

Q. How quickly could you turn around my order?

A. It is possible to get you some beer within 24 hours.

Q. Will I be notified of my delivery date?

A. When we receive a date from the brewery you will be emailed confirming delivery date.

Q. Do you provide pump clips,beer mats etc?

A. This depends on the brewery, check each breweries shop.

Q. What if there is a problem with the quality of my order?

A. If you think your beer is 'ullage' (spoilt) let us know and we will arrange for collection and a full credit will be issued if the product is found to be ullage.

Q. Can I track my delivery with your courier?

A.   Yes you can ring the local courier depot to check the status of your delivery.

Q. Will you be adding more breweries to the service?

A. We will be adding new breweries from time to time.
