Founded by Howard Marlow in 2002 a wholesaler and distributor of draught ales for more than 30 years. The 10 barrel brew plant uses optic malts blended with a range of British hops. At the Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival, 2003, organised by CAMRA, (the Campaign for Real Ale), the Judges of the Champion Beer of Wales competition awarded a Gold medal to Brecon County Ale and Silver medals to Golden Valley and Ramblers Ruin. Golden Valley also won the accolade of Beer of the Festival at the Carmarthen Beer Festival in 2003.
